As a data controller, Prosper Business Recruitment Limited will always keep your data secure and will not sell on to any other company.

What Information we collect from you?

We collect and process your personal data about you when submit your cv and contact details via our Hospitality Work Sign Up Page. Your data submission may lead to you engaging our services as a recruitment agency or business and at this time we will send you another privacy notice outlining how we process your data from that point as this will affect how your date is managed and passed on.  The legal basis we use to process your data from the website is

  • Consent

Our legitimate interest is based on that a candidate who freely offers their personal data to the agency / business would expect their data to be processed to enable the agency to offer work finding services. We will ask for your consent to process your data initially via the website so we can explain our services to you and you can then make the decision if you wish to engage our services.

The information we collect about you includes personal data including

  • Your first name and surname, email address and phone number.  The personal data you have supplied via your CV such as address, previous employers and work history
  • Any other information you wish to provide such a references or data you feel will support your application.

Information about you and personal data is collected via our Hospitality Sign up page, your CV if you attach one, and preferences of work locations and type of work you wish to do.

How we will use the information we will collect?

We will need to process your personal data to be able offer you work finding services with you and meet the obligations of the arrangement.  We will assess your requirements for work based on your location, skills you have told us about and your own preferences.

Who do we share the information with?

Your personal data will be shared with company employees who will assess your data and offer suitable services to you.  Further privacy notices will be sent if you wish to engage our services.

How we protect your data?

Prosper Business Recruitment Limited is committed to keeping your personal data safe and secure from unauthorised access.  To do this we may encrypt our data, review our information collection, storage and processing practices, including physical security measures, restrict access to personal information to Prosper Business Recruitment Limited employees, contractors and agents who need to know that information in order to process for us who are subject to contractual confidentiality and processing obligations, internal policies setting our data securely approach and training for employees.

No decision will be made about you solely based on automated decision making (where a decision is taken about you solely using an electronic system without human involvement) which has a significant impact on you.

Access to your information

Removal or Correcting your Information 

You have the right to request your personal information be removed or amended from our systems unless required to fulfil a legal or contractual obligation.  You can request for your details to be removed or correcting by contact info@prosper-recruitment.co.uk .  We are required to seek proof of identification before any requests will be processed.

How long do we keep your data?

The Company will retain your personal data only for as long as is necessary. Different laws require us to keep different data for different periods of time.

The Conduct of Employment Agencies and Employment Businesses Regulations 2003, require us to keep work-seeker records for at least one year from (a) the date of their creation or (b) after the date on which we last provide you with work-finding services.

There is no legal requirement for personal data storage of a data subject should they not engage our services.  We will from time to time review data received from our website, if data is not being processed we will automatically delete the data.
